The Detection Concept

Detections are the core building block of Anava. A Detection defines:

  • Trigger - What event starts analysis (motion, object, schedule, digital input)
  • Analysis - What questions to ask the AI (count people, detect threats, identify activities)
  • Schedule - When to run (always, after-hours, business hours, custom)
  • Actions - What happens on detection (alerts, voice announcements, webhooks)
Camera Event --> AI Analysis --> Structured Results --> Automated Actions

Create Detections using natural language: "Alert me when someone enters the loading dock after 6pm" and Anava's AI generates the configuration.
