Troubleshooting Updates

Update Fails to Deploy

  1. Check connectivity

    • Camera reachable?
    • Installer can access camera?
  2. Check space

    • Sufficient storage on camera?
  3. Check compatibility

    • Camera firmware supported?
    • Previous ACAP version compatible?

Camera Offline After Update

  1. Wait 2-3 minutes

    • Update may still be completing
  2. Check camera directly

    • Access web interface
    • Verify ACAP is running
  3. Restart ACAP

    • Stop and start AnavaAgent
  4. Rollback if needed

    • Deploy previous version

Configuration Lost After Update

  1. Check cloud configuration

    • Configuration stored in cloud
    • Should sync on reconnect
  2. Re-add camera to group

    • Remove and re-add if needed
  3. Restore from backup

    • Import saved configuration
